This paper presents the use of Freudian Oedipus complex in the novel Sons and Lovers. We find special attraction between sons and mother and some sort of hatred for father. In this autobiographical novel, we explore the feelings and expectation of a mother for her sons especially when she fails to draw what she wants to from her husband.
